The Ilzenberg farm is an organic (biodynamic, ecological and/or natural) agricultural company whose activities are based on the operation and use of various natural energies and forces.
The farm operates as a closed ecological system, which has been cleared from any contaminants for many years. Cows are fed with feeds from fields and pastures of the same farm. Their manure is composted by mixing with organic ingredients, such as healing herbs. The fields and pastures are fertilised with compost. The farm soil is „live“ and becoming even more fertile over the years.
The farm working in harmony with nature has a certified farming system which is subject to significantly stricter standards than organic farms and is therefore considered to be on the highest ecological stage. In 2017 all products grown on the farm were certified ecological on an international level.
